The API was developed using Microsoft’s ASP.NET MVC - a well-known web application framework for its stability and performance in high volume transactional environments. In the instance of Covantex's API, a couple factors need to be considered. The API can reside on any server running Microsoft IIS. As allocated hardware reaches its limits, more resources can easily be added. There are no limits to how many instances of the API that can be spun up and new instances can be rapidly deployed with minimal configuration. Most notably, the API is multi-tenant allowing multiple organizations and resellers to utilize one system.
